The Cambro CBA246084S5580 Camshelving® Basics Plus add-on shelving unit is lined with five tiers of solid polypropylene shelf plates and measures 60 inches wide by 24 inches deep by 84 inches high. Included traverses, dovetails, post connectors, and wedges facilitate attachment to a Basics Plus starter shelving unit in U, L, or T shapes or as an extension of the original unit. Two composite posts with leveling feet balance the add-on unit if it's set up on irregular or sloped flooring, preventing wobbling and rocking that could cause stored contents to fall. Though the bottom shelves each support 600 pounds, and the top shelf has a 400-pound capacity, this unit can hold a maximum of 1,800 pounds overall.

The Cambro CBA246084S5580 add-on shelving unit's solid shelves form a flat surface to support small or irregularly shaped products that otherwise could fall through louvered shelves' gaps. Because the surfaces are smooth, they won't crease towels and sheets to maintain linens' original appearance. As inventory is changed out, operators can adjust the space between the shelves to accommodate items' heights. Users can maintain sanitary shelf surfaces since they're simple to clean and removable for dishmachine washing.
