To prevent storage limitations when the Cambro CBA213684VS5580 Camshelving® Basics Plus add-on shelving unit is attached to a Basics Plus starter shelving unit, the add-on unit can be set up in L, T, or U configurations. This unit can also endure temperatures ranging from -36 to 190 degrees Fahrenheit, meaning it's safe to store in humid dishrooms, dry pantries, and walk-in coolers and freezers. The necessary hardwarea'¬a€preassembled post connectors and wedges, dovetails, and traversesa'¬a€is included to facilitate installation. For a uniform look, it's brushed graphite gray, and its polypropylene construction resists rusting, peeling, corroding, and scratching.

Four of the Cambro CBA213684VS5580 Basics Plus add-on shelving unit's shelf plates are vented, prompting airflow around stored goods to reduce dust and moisture buildup. The remaining shelf plate is solid and best accommodates small or irregularly shaped product that otherwise could fall through the louvered shelf gaps. For thorough shelf sanitation, all the shelves can be removed and cleaned in a dishwasher, while an antimicrobial protection agent molded into the shelf plates slows fungal and mold spread between cleanings to prevent odors and stains. While the top shelf can hold 400 pounds and the lower shelves support 600 pounds each, this shelving unit shouldn't store more than 1,800 pounds.
