The Cambro CBA184884S5580 polymer shelf kit adds on to an existing unit to provide five additional tiers of shelving with an 1,800-pound capacity. To hold supplies and boxed ingredients, the top shelf accommodates 400 pounds, while the four lower shelves can each hold as much as 600 pounds. Because these shelves are solid, they're great for small items and leaky products. For heavy-duty use, the shelf plates are constructed of durable polypropylene.

For use in cold walk-in coolers and warm dishrooms, the Cambro CBA184884S5580 solid add-on shelf kit has a safe temperature range of -36 to 190 degrees Fahrenheit. Shelves are attached to the two composite posts, which come with 10 traverses and five bags of eight-count dovetails. To enable installation on rugged surfaces, leveling feet are fitted to the ends of the composite posts, preventing wobbling. For streamlined installation, the post connectors and wedges come pre-assembled.
