For versatility in where it can be stored, the Cambro CBA244872V5580 Camshelving® Basics Plus add-on shelving unit is made of polypropylene and can endure temperatures from -36 to 190 degrees Fahrenheit, withstanding use in walk-in coolers and freezers, dry storage pantries, and humid dishrooms. It's meant to be fastened to a Basics Plus starter shelving unit in U-, L-, or T-shaped configurations to fit crowded areas while increasing storage opportunities. Traverses, dovetails, and preassembled post connectors and wedges are included in this kit to hasten setup. Its two composite posts with leveling feet balance it if stored on irregular surfaces. To complement the starter unit, it features a brushed graphite appearance.

The five-tier Cambro CBA244872V5580 add-on shelving unit can support 1,800 pounds overall. Its top shelf can hold 400 pounds, while each bottom shelf has a 600-pound capacity. Because each shelf has a louvered design, air can move through the gapped surfaces to eliminate moisture and dust accumulation. The shelves resist rusting, corroding, scratching, and peeling to protect stored contents from damage. To maintain sanitary surfaces, these shelves are also simple to wipe clean, and the shelves can be removed and washed in a dishmachine when desired.
