Traverses, dovetails, and preassembled post connectors and wedges are included with the Cambro CBA214284S4580 Camshelving® Basics Plus add-on shelving unit, enabling operators to configure the add-on unit in L, U, or T shapes to fit a Basics Plus starter shelving unit in various storage environments. Two composite posts with leveling feet balance the add-on unit when installed on irregular or sloped surfaces. For versatility, it can be stored in temperatures from -36 to 190 degrees Fahrenheit, meaning it's safe for use in dry pantries, walk-in coolers and freezers, and humid dishrooms.

To prevent overloading, a maximum of 1,800 pounds can be stored on the Cambro CBA214284S4580 add-on shelving unit. While the top shelf has a 400-pound capacity, the three lower shelves each support 600 pounds. Each shelf plate is solid and ideal for holding linens, small objects, and irregularly shaped goods. Their structures also help prevent spilled liquids from leaking onto other items and the floor. To ensure products are stored on sanitary surfaces, the shelves can be removed and cleaned in a dishwasher. Between standard cleanings, Camguard® antimicrobial slows bacterial growth to prevent potential malodors and stains.
