To accommodate a wide range of products, the Cambro CBA246064V5580 Camshelving® Basics Plus add-on shelving unit's top shelf can hold 400 pounds, while each bottom shelf has a 600-pound capacity. No more than 1,800 pounds should be loaded on this unit. Operators can adjust the shelves' positions on the posts to support various product heights as inventory changes. Each shelf is vented, so air circulates evenly across the shelves' surfaces to improve airflow while eliminating dust and moisture accumulation. Though their surfaces are slotted, these shelves are simple to wipe clean. For convenient sanitizing, they can be removed and cleaned in the dishmachine.

The Cambro CBA246064V5580 add-on shelving unit can be attached to a Basic Plus starter shelving unit's post to extend the unit, or it can be configured in T, L, or U shapes to fit cramped storage areas. To facilitate setup, traverses, dovetails, and preassembled post connectors and wedges are included in this kit. The add-on unit's polypropylene construction is safe to use in environments between -36 and 190 degrees Fahrenheit, meaning it's compatible with pantries, dishrooms, freezers, and coolers. To complement the original starter unit, it comes in brushed graphite gray, and its polypropylene construction resists rusting, corroding, peeling, and scratching to retain its color.
