This color is preserved over time since the unit's polypropylene construction resists rusting, corroding, peeling, and scratching. Meant to be affixed to the starter unit in a U, T, or L shape to fit crowded storage spaces, this five-tier unit includes preassembled post connectors and wedges, 10 traverses, and five bags of eight dovetails to expedite attachment. The conjoined shelving unit can be stored safely in walk-in coolers and freezers, humid dishrooms, and dry storage pantries since the polymer can be used in environments from -36 to 190 degrees Fahrenheit. Leveling feet on the two composite posts balance the add-on unit to prevent wobbling.

The Cambro CBA245484VS5580 add-on shelving unit's one solid and four vented shelf plates improve storage opportunities in comparison to units with only solid or vented shelves. The solid shelf contains spills to protect product, provides a sturdy surface for small or irregularly shaped goods, and won't leave imprints in towels and sheets. The vented shelves are ideal for perishables and boxed and bagged items since air can move through the shelves' gapped surfaces and around stored contents. This design also helps eliminate moisture and dust in humid and dry storage areas. Operators can position the shelves to best accommodate changing storage needs. The top shelf is built to hold 400 pounds, while each bottom shelf has a 600-pound capacity. Overall, this unit shouldn't be loaded with more than 1,800 pounds.
