Its three lower shelves can hold 600 pounds each, while its top shelf has a 400-pound capacity. All four shelves feature a vented design that prompts dust- and moisture-eliminating air circulation. Their polypropylene construction resists rust and corrosion to preserve its brushed graphite color, and this unit is durable enough to be washed in a dishmachine. To reduce the risk of stain or odor formation from bacterial spread, an antimicrobial protection agent is built into the shelves.

For use in various storage areas and environments, the Cambro CBA214264V4580 add-on shelving unit is meant to be attached to a starter shelving unit in U, L, or T shapes, and it's safe to store between -36 and 190 degrees Fahrenheit. Two composite posts support the add-on unit, and their leveling feet prevent rocking on irregular flooring. Traverses, dovetails, and preassembled post connectors and wedges are included with this setup to speed up installation.
