Eight traversesa'¬a€which hold the shelves in placea'¬a€are connected to the posts using 32 dovetails, while also intended to connect to the posts on a starter unit. Three vented shelves promote airflow, while the solid shelf prevents small products from falling onto the floor. Constructed of polypropylene, the shelves on the Cambro CBA216064VS4580 add-on shelving unit resist minor damage.
