This four-tier Cambro CBA246072V4580 Camshelving® Basics Plus add-on shelving unit measures 60 inches wide by 24 inches deep by 72 inches high and is lined with four tiers of vented polypropylene shelf plates. Because it's not a stand-alone unit, it must be affixed to a Basics Plus starter shelving unit as an extension or in T-, L-, or U-shaped configurations, depending on available space. Included dovetails, traverses, and preassembled post connectors and wedges facilitate attachment.

To increase versatility concerning where it can be stored, this unit is made of polypropylenea'¬a€a polymer that can endure temperatures from -36 to 190 degrees Fahrenheit. This feature makes it compatible with freezer, cooler, pantry, and dishroom storage. The material is made with an antimicrobial agent, reducing the risk of bacterial, fungal, and mold growth. In case the unit is set up on irregular surfaces, its composite posts are capped with sturdy leveling feet to help prevent wobbling.

Though the top shelf can support 400 pounds and each lower shelf has a 600-pound capacity, the Cambro CBA246072V4580 add-on shelving unit can't hold more than 1,800 pounds. As inventory changes, operators can reposition shelves along the posts to accommodate various product sizes. Each shelf is vented, encouraging airflow through the shelves' slots and across their surfaces to reduce buildup of moisture and dust in humid and dry storage environments. To preserve the shelves' brushed graphite look while protecting stored contents from damage, the polypropylene construction resists peeling, scratching, rusting, and corroding.
