Because the Cambro CBA214264VS4580 Camshelving® Basics Plus add-on shelving unit has one solid and three vented polypropylene shelf plates, it's meant to accommodate a wide range of products. While the solid shelf is best suited to support linens and irregularly shaped or small contents, the vented shelves' designs encourage air to flow through their slotted surfaces for reduced moisture and dust buildup. Each of the lower shelves has a 600-pound capacity, while the top shelf can support 400 pounds. However, this unit should not be loaded with more than 1,800 pounds.

The Cambro CBA214264VS4580 add-on shelving unit is meant to be attached to a Basics Plus starter shelving unit in U-, T-, or L-shaped configurations. Four bags of eight dovetails, eight traverses, and preassembled post connectors and wedges are included to expedite setup. The add-on unit is brushed graphite gray to match the starter unit, while its polypropylene construction resists rust, corrosion, and scrapes to maintain this look over time. To prevent limitations in storage, its polypropylene construction can endure temperatures from -36 to 190 degrees Fahrenheit.
