Meant to accommodate various goods, the Cambro CBA213684VS4580 Camshelving® Basics Plus add-on shelving unit has one solid and three vented shelf plates. The solid shelf is ideal for oddly shaped items and linens as it won't leave imprints into towels and sheets. Air can move through the louvered shelves' gaps, minimizing moisture buildup in humid storage spaces and dust accumulation in dry areas. Though the top shelf can support 400 pounds and the three lower shelves can support 600 pounds each, this unit has a maximum capacity of 1,800 pounds.

To expedite setup with a stationary Basics Plus starter unit, the Cambro CBA213684VS4580 add-on shelving unit includes dovetails, traverses, and preassembled post connectors and wedges. The add-on unit can be attached to the original unit in T, U, or L shapes, while its two composite posts are fitted with leveling feet to secure the unit in place on uneven, sloped, or irregular surfaces. Because of its polypropylene construction, it's safe to store in temperatures between -36 and 190 degrees Fahrenheit, and it resist scrapes, peels, rust, and corrosion. For a cohesive look with the starter unit, it's colored with a brushed graphite gray.
