To accommodate various items, the Cambro CBA186084VS4580 Camshelving® Basics Plus add-on shelving unit features one solid and three vented polypropylene shelf plates. The solid shelf supports irregularly shaped objects while preventing liquids from leaking onto the floor. The louvered shelves prompt air to flow around product, minimizing moisture and dust buildup; because of this, these shelves can accommodate perishable goods. Camguard® antimicrobial protection built into the shelf plates' surfaces protects contents from odors and stains. The shelves also can be wiped clean or washed in a dishmachine.

Because the Cambro CBA186084VS4580 add-on shelving unit includes preassembled post connectors and wedges, traverses, and dovetails, operators have the necessary hardware to attach the add-on unit to a preexisting Basics Plus stationary shelving unit. It can be configured in L, U, or T shapes, and it's stabilized with its leveling feet. Built with polypropylene, it can be stored in temperatures from -36 to 190 degrees Fahrenheit while resisting rusting, corroding, peeling, and scratching. Its brushed graphite color matches the original starter unit for uniformity.
