The Cambro CBA213684V5580 Camshelving® Basics Plus add-on shelving unit's five tiers support a maximum of 1,800 pounds. While the top shelf supports 400 pounds, the four lower shelves support 600 pounds each, and every shelf is vented, meaning air can flow through the slots and move around product to eliminate moisture and dust buildup. They're also treated with an antimicrobial protection agent that slows microbial growth that otherwise could leave behind odors and stains. For thorough sanitization, the shelves can be cleaned in a heavy-duty dishwasher.

For versatility, the Cambro CBA213684V5580 add-on shelving unit can be attached to a starter shelving unit in L-, U-, and T-shaped configurations. Preassembled post connectors and wedges, traverses, and dovetails are included so operators have the necessary hardware for setup. To match the existing unit, the add-on unit is brushed graphite gray, and its polypropylene construction resists rusting, peeling, corroding, and scratching to preserve its original look. This polymer can be stored in warm dishrooms, dry pantries, freezers, and coolers because it withstands temperatures between -36 and 190 degrees Fahrenheit.
