This Cambro CBA245484V4580 Camshelving® Basics Plus add-on shelving unit can be affixed to a Basics Plus starter shelving unit by using the included hardware: preassembled post connectors and wedges, eight traverses, and four bags of eight dovetails. To ensure the linked unit can fit in a variety of storage spaces, it can be configured in T, U, or L shapes, and its polypropylene construction withstands environments between -36 and 190 degrees Fahrenheit. Its leveling feet balance it if it's installed on sloped or irregular surfaces. This add-on unit measures 54 inches wide by 24 inches deep by 84 inches high and has four tiers of vented polypropylene shelf plates to increase storage opportunities.

The top shelf of the Cambro CBA245484V4580 add-on shelving unit can support 400 pounds, while each lower shelf has a 600-pound capacity. To reduce the risk of structural damage, this shelving unit shouldn't be loaded with more than 1,800 pounds. The shelves are louvered, so air can move through their slotted surfaces and around product, eliminating moisture and dust buildup. To preserve their original appearance and ensure products aren't contaminated, the shelves resist peeling, scratching, rusting, and corroding. For convenient cleaning, these shelves can be wiped down routinely and sanitized in a warewasher.
