By attaching the Cambro CBA243084VS4580 Camshelving® Basics Plus add-on shelving unit to a Basics Plus starter shelving unit, operators can add storage space. The add-on unit can be configured to its starter unit in L, T, or U shapes to fit available space; traverses, dovetails, and preassembled post connectors and wedges are included in this kit to facilitate setup. This rust-, corrosion-, peel-, and scratch-resistant polypropylene unit has a brushed graphite look that's preserved throughout use, and it's safe to store in coolers, freezers, pantries, and dishrooms. To prevent wobbling, two composite posts with leveling feet support this 30-inch-wide by 24-inch-deep by 84-inch-high unit.

To accommodate a diverse range of product, three of the Cambro CBA243084VS4580 add-on shelving unit's shelves are vented, while one shelf is solid. The louvered shelves have slotted surfaces that air can flow through, eliminating moisture and dust buildup. Its solid shelf can protect other shelves and the floor from spills, and its flat surface doesn't create imprints on towels and sheets, so it's ideal for linens. Operators can structure the shelves to best suit their storage needs. While the top shelf can hold 400 pounds, each lower shelf supports 600 pounds. No more than 1,800 pounds should be stored on this unit, overall.
