The Cambro CBU183664S4580 Camshelving® Basics Plus starter shelving unit has four tiers of solid polypropylene shelf plates. When loaded to its full capacity, it accommodates 1,800 pounds; although the top shelf has a 400-pound capacity, each lower shelf is engineered to support 600 pounds. The shelves' solid surfaces are flat and stable to support small items and irregularly shaped goods, contain spills from leaky products, and prevent towels and sheets from becoming creased. As inventory changes, these shelves can be removed and adjusted along the posts to accommodate various products.

To maintain a clean surface, the Cambro CBU183664S4580 starter shelving unit's shelves can be wiped clean routinely and washed in a dishmachine. Between standard cleanings, Camguard® antimicrobial protection slows bacterial growth on the shelves to prevent odors and stains that could impact storage quality and damage stored items.

For versatility regarding where this starter shelving unit can be stored, it withstands temperatures from -36 to 190 degrees Fahrenheit and resists peeling and scratching. If it's installed on uneven surfaces, four composite posts with leveling feet balance the unit, preventing wobbling and rocking, which could cause stored contents to fall. Included preassembled post connectors and wedges, eight traverses, and four bags of eight dovetails facilitate setup.
