This 60-inch-wide by 18-inch-deep by 84-inch-high unit is comprised of five tiers of vented shelf plates and can be used in temperatures between -36 and 190 degrees Fahrenheit for versatile use. Though the top shelf holds 400 pounds, and each lower shelf has a 600-pound capacity, no more than 1,800 pounds should be stored on this unit. Its leveling feet balance the unit on sloped or irregular surfaces to prevent rocking that could cause stored contents to fall when operators load and retrieve items.

Because air can pass through the Cambro CBU186084V5580 starter shelving unit's louvered shelves around product, this shelving unit is ideal for storing perishable goods. Free-flowing air can reduce moisture and dust accumulation, which helps protect stored contents from contaminants. These shelves' gapped surfaces can be wiped clean, and they're removable for dishmachine sanitizing.
