Because the Cambro CBU183664VS4580 Camshelving® Basics plus starter shelving unit has one solid and three vented polypropylene shelves, it can accommodate a more diverse range of products than fully solid or vented shelving units. The solid shelf's flat design provides a sturdy surface for small goods, irregularly shaped items, and linens, and it can protect other shelves and the floor from spills. The louvered shelves' gapped design encourages air circulation to create an ideal storage area for perishable goods. As air flows freely, it can reduce moisture and dust buildup, so the shelves can maintain a clean surface. To ensure products are stored on sanitary surfaces, the shelves can be wiped clean regularly and be removed for dishmachine washing when needed. Camguard® antimicrobial protection is molded into the shelf plates to inhibit fungal and bacterial growth between routine cleanings.

The Cambro CBU183664VS4580 starter shelving unit includes eight traverses, four bags of eight dovetails, and preassembled post connectors and wedges to expedite setup. This unit is safe to use in temperatures from -36 to 190 degrees Fahrenheit and is well suited for storage in pantries, dishrooms, coolers, and freezers. Leveling feet built on the bottom of its composite posts ensure it's stable on uneven ground. Overall, this unit measures 36 inches wide by 18 inches deep by 64 inches high and is brushed graphite gray for uniformity with common storage areas.
