From the Designer line, the Continental D1FNSSPTHD pass-thru freezer is designed to be accessed from either side making it ideal for center placement in a commercial kitchen. The full cabinet is constructed of stainless steel, which is a durable and corrosion-resistant metal. Between the metal paneling is 3 inches of polyurethane foam insulation; this combines with the solid doors help to lock in cold conditions. Each side of the cabinet is fitted with two half-height doors, which help to break up the unit into manageable segments.

To set the desired operating temperature, users must access the Continental D1FNSSPTHD one-section freezer's electronic controller. The self-contained refrigeration system utilizes R290 refrigerant and can produce frigid conditions from 0 to -10 degrees Fahrenheit. For even air circulation, the cabinet is outfitted with top and side air distribution ducts. The hot gas evaporator and electronic defrost system both function automatically to reduce humidity and prevent ice development.
