From the Designer line, the Continental D1FXSN reach-in freezer is an extra-wide unit featuring a 32-cubic-foot interior fitted with three epoxy-coated steel shelves that can be adjusted among the heavy-duty pilaster strips. This space is illuminated with LED lighting to help quickly identify items. The front is made of stainless steel, while the sides and interior are constructed of aluminum. Both metals are durable and resistant to corrosion. To help lock in cold conditions, 3 inches of polyurethane is foamed in between the metal paneling.

To set the Continental D1FXSN extra-wide freezer's operating temperature, users must access the top-mounted electronic controller; the holding temperature can be set between -10 and 0 degrees. The self-contained refrigeration system then works to reach the set temperature. For safe and efficient operation, this system uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant. If the system experiences drastic shifts in temperature, an alarm will sound.
