This Continental D1RENSSGD refrigerator's self-contained system uses R-290 hydrocarbon refrigerant. Its electronic controller provides temperature adjustment, and the high/low alarm alerts employees of undesired temperatures. It has a defrost system to thaw frost and ice on refrigerator coils, and the electric condensate evaporator minimizes accumulated moisture.

The Continental D1RENSSGD reach-in refrigerator is from the Designer Line series and has a durable stainless steel exterior and aluminum interior. The unit's 22-cubic-foot capacity holds four epoxy-coated steel shelves supported by pilaster strips. The unit is insulated with 3-inch-thick polyurethane and features a triple-paned tempered glass door with a Santoprene® gasket for an airtight design. For simple cleaning underneath, it's elevated with 6-inch legs for easy cleaning underneath.
