The Continental D1RESNHD one-section reach-in refrigerator's solid doors feature a self-closing design that prevents users from accidentally letting cold air escape, and each door has a magnetic gasket for a tight seal and a cylinder lock for decreased product tampering. The refrigerator's front panels are made of stainless steel, the interior and end panels are made of aluminum, and the polyurethane foam insulation sits between the metal paneling. Measuring 28¹/₂ inches wide by 29¹/₄ inches deep by 83¹/₄ inches high, the refrigerator is mounted on four 6-inch legs.

With a self-contained refrigeration system that uses R-290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, the Continental D1RESNHD refrigerator keeps temperatures at an ideal level for product safety. Operators can set the holding temperature with its electronic controller and can monitor the temperatures by checking the external display. The unit's off-cycle defrost inhibits ice development on important coils and components, while the hot gas condensate evaporator functions automatically for reduced user maintenance.
