The Continental D1RINSART Designer Line roll-thru refrigerator operates using a self-contained refrigeration system mounted at the top of the cabinet, away from floor debris, allowing maximum space within the cabinet. The electronic controller has a digital display that enables users to set the desired operating temperature. To ensure safe and efficient operation, the refrigeration system utilizes R290 refrigerant.

Its roll-thru design enables access from either side of the Continental D1RINSARTone-section refrigerator. A stainless steel ramp is attached to the bottom of the unit for easy insertion and removal of a 66¹/₄-inch-high rack; it can be detached when moving or cleaning the cabinet. The floor is reinforced to support the rack when fully stocked. Externally, the cabinet is made of stainless steel, while the sides and interior are aluminum. The front door is solid, self-closes, and can be locked.
