Designed with a pass-thru configuration, staff can load and unload products from the Continental D1RNPTHD one-section refrigerator's front or back; the stocking process is further streamlined with the doors' stay-open design. The doors and front panels are made of stainless steel, while the end panels and interior cabinet are made of aluminum. The 21-cubic-foot interior is fitted with three epoxy-coated wire shelves and bright LED lighting. The refrigerator's 6-inch adjustable legs provide balance on uneven flooring and enable easy cleaning underneath the unit.

Users can operate the Continental D1RNPTHD refrigerator's power, temperature, and defrost settings with its electronic controls. If the holding temperature drops below or rises above its set level, the high/low alarm sounds. The unit's self-contained refrigeration system, which uses R-290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, is located at the top to prevent the intake of dust and dirt that could harm integral components. Built with 3 inches of foam insulation, this refrigerator contains cold air and reduces energy loss.
