Measuring 26 inches wide by 35³/₈ inches deep by 83¹/₄ inches high, the Continental D1RNSA one-section reach-in refrigerator has 21 cubic feet of interior space. This space holds three epoxy-coated steel shelves and is made of aluminum for durability. The exterior's stainless steel construction withstands heavy commercial use and resists rust and corrosion development. If the unit's solid door is accidentally left open, it will self-close to prevent cold air from escaping. This door is also equipped with field-reversible hinges.

The Continental D1RNSA refrigerator features 3-inch-thick polyurethane foam insulation and an R-290 refrigerant system that preserves cold temperatures for food safety. The top-mounted, self-contained refrigeration system uses an off-cycle defrost and automatic, hot gas condensate evaporator to work effectively in kitchen environments with ambient temperatures up to 90 degrees. The unit is electronically controlled, enabling quick temperature adjustments and accurate readings.
