Both the exterior and interior of the Continental D1RNSSPTHD pass-thru refrigerator are made of stainless steel for its dent- and corrosion-resistant properties that's resistant to both rust and corrosion. The interior comes with three epoxy-coated steel shelves and is lit with LED lights that enable quick item retrieval. Affixed to each side of the unit are two right-hinged, half-size steel doors; these doors self-close and have cylinder locks to provide security. The top-mounted compressor is positioned away from dirt and debris on the floor, and to provide stability and ease cleaning, this refrigerator sits atop four 6-inch stainless steel legs.

The Continental D1RNSSPTHD single-section pass-thru refrigerator can be set between 38 and 40 degrees Fahrenheit and is controlled using the electric controls and digital display. If this refrigerator reaches undesired temperatures, an alarm sounds to notify users. This item has 3 inches of polyurethane foam between its metal paneling to insulate the cabinet. Relying on R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, this unit has an off-cycle defrost and hot gas condensate evaporator.
