Deigned to endure heavy use, the Continental D1RXNSA Designer Line reach-in refrigerator is constructed with a stainless steel exterior and aluminum interior. Both metals are resistant to corrosion and easy to maintain. Between the paneling is 3 inches of polyurethane foam insulation, which works with the solid door to secure cool conditions. The door self-closes and can be locked.

The Continental D1RXNSA extra-wide refrigerator's self-contained refrigerator is mounted atop the cabinet, away from debris on the floor. This system uses R290 refrigerant, an efficient and environmentally friendly alternative to traditional refrigerants. Staff can set the desired operating temperature via the electronic controller located above the door. The hot-gas evaporator reduces condensate development, while the off-cycle defrost system functions intermittently to prevent ice formation.
