Made with a stainless steel exterior and aluminum interior, the Continental D1RXSNSSGD one-section reach-in refrigerator streamlines cleaning and is corrosion, scratch, and dent resistant. The interior measures 22⁷/₈ inches deep by 54³/₄ inches high with a 26-cubic-foot interior that holds four epoxy-coated steel shelves. The glass door provides an interior view without having to be opened, and it will self-close to improve recovery times.

Operators can set the Continental D1RXSNSSGD refrigerator's holding temperature with the electronic thermostat, which comes with a temperature display and high/low alarm. To ensure the internal temperature persists at an ideal level, the self-contained refrigeration system uses R-290 hydrocarbon refrigerant to absorb heat, and the cabinet is insulated with polyurethane foam to lock in cold air. This refrigerator is also equipped with an off-cycle defrost and electric condensate evaporator.
