Designed to withstand heavy use, the Continental D2FENSAGD two-section reach-in freezer's exterior is made of stainless steel, while the interior features an aluminum construction. The interior is accessible through the two triple-pane tempered glass doors, which self-close to prevent cold air from escaping. The doors' magnetic gaskets create a tight seal to retain cold interior temperatures, and, along with the top and side air ducts, the unit's wire shelves promote even airflow throughout the cabinet. Overall, this freezer measures 57 inches wide by 35³/₈ inches deep by 83¹/₄ inches high.

The Continental D2FENSAGD freezer's electronic controller enables temperature adjustments between -10 and 0 degrees Fahrenheit, while the temperature readout displays current conditions for monitoring. This unit has foam insulation and uses R-290 hydrocarbon refrigerant to maintain proper temperatures. The self-contained refrigeration system is top mounted for maximum interior space and includes an automatic defrost and hot gas condensate evaporator.
