Measuring 29 inches deep by 58¹/₈ inches high, the Continental D2FENSAHD two-section reach-in freezer's interior is made of aluminum, fitted with six epoxy-coated wire shelves, and features LED lighting for enhanced visibility. The freezer's exterior and adjustable legs are made of stainless steel for sturdiness and corrosion resistance, while the front of the unit features four self-closing doors with a solid construction. These doors have their own snap-in gaskets to reduce temperature loss and cylinder locks to deter theft.

The Continental D2FENSAHD freezer is supplied with an electric defrost system to eliminate ice buildup and a condensate evaporator that runs automatically to reduce energy consumption. For optimal cooling, this unit uses R-290 hydrocarbon refrigerant to absorb heat and turn it into cold air, while its polyurethane foam insulation helps retain the temperature set on the electronic controller. This freezer can be set between 0 and -10 degrees Fahrenheit.
