To maximize storage capability, the Continental D2FENSSHD reach-in freezer has six epoxy-coated steel shelves that can be adjusted with the heavy-duty pilaster strips. This freezer has a stainless steel interior and exterior to resist rust and corrosion. The interior is accessed via the four half-height solid steel doors, which have chrome plated handles and cylinder locks to prevent tampering. These doors have magnetic snap-in door gaskets that create a tight seal to retain cool air. This freezer has 3 inches of polyurethane insulation to help improve temperature recovery times during busy shifts.

For precise temperature programming, the Continental D2FENSSHD reach-in freezer is operated using the electronic controls and a digital temperature readout. This unit has interior LED lights to illuminate shelf items. The self-contained refrigeration system simplifies installation and utilizes eco-friendly R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant. To prevent the buildup of ice on various system components, this unit has an electric defrost that operates automatically. If the cabinet experiences a sudden change in temperature, an alarm will sound to notify staff.
