As seen in the Designer Line series, the Continental D2FNPTHD two-section freezer features a pass-thru design that enables access from either side. The unit is made of corrosion-resistant aluminum with a stainless steel front. Between the metal paneling is 3 inches of polyurethane foam insulation that helps maintain internal conditions. Each side of the cabinet has four half-height doors that divide the unit into manageable sections. Epoxy-coated steel shelves are provided to help with organization and can be adjusted as needed among the pilaster strips.

The Continental D2FNPTHD reach-in freezer uses a self-contained refrigeration system to achieve set operating temperature that can be selected from -10 to 0 degrees Fahrenheit. This system utilizes R290 refrigerant for safe and efficient operation. It features an expansion valve system and uses the side and top air ducts to evenly circulate frigid air inside the cavity. Overall, the cabinet measures 52 inches wide by 38³/₄ inches deep by 83¹/₄ inches high and stands on four adjustable stainless steel legs.
