From the Designer line, the Continental D2FSN reach-in freezer features a shallow interior measuring 32 cubic feet. This space is fitted with six epoxy-coated steel shelves and illuminated by LED lighting. Combined with 3-inch foamed-in polyurethane insulation, the two solid, full-height doors affixed at the cabinet's front preserve frigid conditions. While the unit's front is made of stainless steel, the sides and interior are built of aluminum.

Mounted atop the Continental D2FSN two-section freezer is the self-contained refrigeration system, which can be set between 0 and -10 degrees Fahrenheit as determined by the electronic controller's input settings. The system uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant. To reduce water from collecting, the condensate evaporator functions automatically, while the electronic defrost system prevents frost development on vital components.
