As seen in the Designer Line series, the Continental D2RENPTHD reach-in refrigerator utilizes a self-contained refrigeration system to maintain cool internal conditions. This system is positioned atop the cabinet, away from floor debris and to maximize interior space, and to ensure efficient and safe operation, the unit uses R290 refrigerant. The electronic controller must be used to set the desired holding temperature. For long-lasting operation, the automatic hot-gas evaporator reduces condensate development, while the off-cycle defrost eliminates ice that forms on key components.

Ideal for extending cold storage, the Continental D2RENPTHD extra-wide refrigerator is comprised of two sections and features a pass-thru design. Either side is accessible through its half-height, solid door; these self-close to reduce recovery time and can be locked to prevent theft. The interior spans 52 cubic feet and is fitted with six adjustable, epoxy-coated steel shelves, while the interior is illuminated by LED lighting.
