As seen in the Designer Line series, the Continental D2RESNSASGD two-section refrigerator is an ideal unit for locations looking to expand their common cool storage. Externally, the cabinet is made of stainless steel, while the interior is made of aluminum. Both metals are chosen for their durability and longevity in commercial settings. Between the paneling is 3 inches of polyurethane insulation, which helps to maintain cool conditions. Affixed to the front is a set of sliding doors made of double-paned tempered glass that sit in a black PVC frame. These doors self-close to reduce recovery time and can be locked to prevent theft.

This Continental D2RESNSASGD extra-wide reach-in refrigerator uses a self-contained refrigeration system mounted atop the cabinet away from debris. This system uses R290 refrigeration and relies on the electronic controller's input settings to determine desired operating temperatures. If the unit undergoes excessive shifts in temperature, an alert will sound until addressed using the controls.
