Part of the Designer Line series, the Continental D2RFEN reach-in refrigerator/freezer has a two-section dual-temperature design, which can be a valuable addition to locations working with limited storage space. Each of the two sections offer 22 cubic feet of internal space and a total of six steel wire shelves for item organization. To resist corrosion and rust, the front of the unit is made of stainless steel, while both the end panels and interior are constructed of aluminum. The front of the unit is equipped with two solid steel doors with polished chrome door handles.

To provide a clear view of shelf items, the Continental D2RFEN refrigerator/freezer interior is equipped with LED lighting, and to optimize storage, the interior also has heavy-duty pilaster strips for shelf adjustments. This dual-temperature unit has electronic controls and a digital temperature readout that operators must use when programming desired temperatures. The refrigerated section maintains a holding range between 38 and 40 degrees Fahrenheit, while the freezer section can achieve temperatures between -4 and 0 degrees Fahrenheit. This item relies on R290 refrigerant to achieve set temperatures, making it an eco-friendly and energy-efficient option.
