Constructed of durable stainless steel with a reinforced floor, the Continental D2RINSS two-section roll-in refrigerator withstands constant use and corrosion. The refrigerator's removable stainless steel ramps facilitate easy removal of stored carts, and the 64-cubic-foot interior supports the storage of two 66¹/₄-inch-high carts. The interior is evenly cooled with the help of top and side air distribution ducts and is accessible through two solid doors. If the doors are accidentally left open, they will self-close to reduce recovery times, and they feature magnetic gaskets, cylinder locks, and chrome handles.

The Continental D2RINSS refrigerator's self-contained refrigeration system is top mounted for maximum interior space, and it includes an off-cycle defrost to reduce ice buildup and a condensate evaporator that performs automatically. Staff can set and adjust the unit's holding temperature via the electronic controls. If temperature fluctuations occur, an alarm sounds until the issue is fixed. The cabinet is insulated with polyurethane foam and is cooled with R-290 hydrocarbon refrigerant to secure consistent holding temperatures.
