Part of the Designer Line series, the Continental D2RNSSGD reach-in refrigerator is constructed of stainless steel for dent, corrosion, and rust resistance. To provide a clear view inside the cabinet, there are two hinged doors fixed to the front of the unit that are made of triple-pane, tempered glass. To enhance this view, the cabinet is illuminated with LED lights. This two-section, reach-in refrigerator offers 50 cubic feet of interior space and features eight epoxy-coated steel shelves for item storage. The shelves can be adjusted using the heavy-duty pilaster strips to accommodate various storage configurations.

To protect inventory from theft and tampering, the doors of the Continental D2RNSSGD two-section refrigerator have cylinder locks and have a self-closing design to ensure safe temperatures are maintained if doors are accidentally left open. Magnetic snap-in door gaskets provide a tight seal and work conjunctively with polyurethane insulation to achieve set temperatures . A high/low alarm sounds to alert staff if the cabinet temperature deviates from what is set. Using R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, this unit maintains a temperature holding range between 38 to 40 degrees Fahrenheit and is eco-friendly and energy efficient.
