The top of the Continental D36N8 Designer Line sandwich and salad prep table comes with eight 4-inch-deep pans. Adjacent to the pan holding compartment is a 12-inch, full-length cutting board for prepping vegetables and deli meats, while an insulated lid is featured at the top of the sandwich/salad prep table to shield held products from dust, debris, and bugs. The unit's stainless steel front, top, end panels, and interior are corrosion resistant, durable, and simple to clean, and its 2-inch polyurethane between the paneling helps the unit maintain set temperatures.

This Continental D36N8 prep table cools with a self-contained refrigeration system that uses R-290 hydrocarbon refrigerant. Its unique airflow distribution holds temperatures between 33 and 41 degrees Fahrenheit, which can be adjusted using the electronic controls. The integrated off-cycle defrost system mitigates the accumulation of frost or ice, and the condensate evaporator rids the unit of moisture collected from the defrost system. It's equipped with two doors that feature snap-in magnetic gaskets to create an airtight seal.
