With a three-section, pass-thru design, the Continental D3RNPT refrigerator can be placed in the center of a kitchen area to provide staff access to the interior. This configuration would enable users to quickly load and retrieve interior items to streamline guest service. This unit can be accessed from both sides through the six hinged, solid steel doors. The interior is made of durable aluminum and is fitted with nine epoxy-coated steel shelves that are adjustable using the heavy-duty pilaster strips. To ensure cool conditions are maintained during heavy use, each door has a self-closing design.

To maintain set temperatures, the Continental D3RNPT reach-in refrigerator has 3 inches of polyurethane foam between the metal paneling to insulate the cabinet, and the high/low temperature alarm will sound if the unit experiences a sudden change in temperature. To program temperatures between 38 and 40 degrees Fahrenheit, operators must use the electronic controller and digital temperature display. To lessen the environmental impact, this refrigerator utilizes eco-friendly and energy-efficient R290 refrigerant.
