Constructed of stainless steel, the Continental D48N10C-FB Designer Line sandwich/salad prep table's exterior and interior resist corrosion and withstand frequent use. The interior shelves feature an epoxy coating for durability and a wire configuration to promote airflow around stored products, while the two solid doors reduce recovery time with their self-closing design. For ingredient storage, the top compartment accommodates 10 sixth-size recessed pans. This unit sits on four 3³/₄-inch casters for mobility and measures 48 inches wide by 38¹/₄ inches deep by 41 inches high overall.

The Continental D48N10C-FB prep table's self-contained refrigeration system and digital controller are rear mounted to avoid collision damage, and this unit utilizes an off-cycle defrost and hot gas condensate evaporator to eliminate ice and water buildup, which protects important coils and components. For efficient cooling, the refrigeration system operates with R-290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, and the top compartment supports temperatures between 33 and 41 degrees Fahrenheit. The refrigerated base and top compartment's holding temperatures are sustained with polyurethane foam insulation and an insulated lid.
