The Continental D48N8C-FB-D Designer Line sandwich/salad prep table houses eight sixth-size recessed pans in its top compartment for ingredient access during food preparation, while the tub below the pans is removable for easy cleanup. With a stainless steel construction and nylon cutting board, this prep table supports frequent use. Measuring 48 inches wide by 38¹/₄ inches deep by 41 inches high overall, this unit has four roll-out drawers featuring magnetic gaskets and chrome handles. This prep table is mounted on four 3³/₄-inch casters for smooth transportation between locations when cleaning or maintenance is needed.

To ensure temperatures remain cold throughout the top compartment and base, the Continental D48N8C-FB-D prep table features an insulated top lid and polyurethane foam insulation between the metal paneling. This unit utilizes R-290 hydrocarbon refrigerant and a rear-mounted refrigeration system to reach and maintain user-set temperatures between 33 and 41 degrees Fahrenheit. Operators can adjust temperature and defrost settings with the digital controls, and this unit contains a hot gas condensate evaporator to eliminate humidity and water buildup.
