From the Designer Line series, the Continental DFA43NSS-D worktop freezer is designed to provide a durable worktop for food preparation and store valuable frozen inventory in a convenient location that is easy to reach. Overall, this unit measures 43 inches wide by 36⁵/₁₆ inches deep by 36 inches high, making it a good size for use as a preparation station in a kitchen workspace. The worktop is constructed of heavy-gauge, 300 series stainless steel to provide corrosion and dent resistance. The freezer base has a stainless steel front, end panels, and interior, and is accessed through two pullout drawers and a half-height, field reversible door located on the top of the condensing unit.

To lock in cool conditions, the Continental DFA43NSS-D worktop freezer has 2 inches of polyurethane foam between the metal paneling to insulate the cabinet, Santoprene™ snap-in door gaskets to provide an airtight seal, and a high/low temperature alarm to alert staff if there is a sudden temperature deviation. This unit's self-contained refrigeration system uses R290 refrigerant via an expansion valve system and a plasticized fin evaporator coil to maintain a temperature holding range between -4 and 0 degrees Fahrenheit. This unit has a forced air cooling design with fans installed every 12 inches across the back to ensure cool air is evenly distributed throughout the cabinet.
