A heavy-duty stainless steel worktop with a 6-inch backsplash tops the Continental FA68NBS-D 68-inch worktop freezer's three sections. The front and end panels are made of stainless steel, the rear and grill are made of galvanized steel, and the interior is made of aluminum. This 22-cubic-foot-net capacity unit features four drawers and one door with polished chrome handles. Its two-tier, roll-out stainless steel drawers accommodate two 20-inch-long by 12-inch-wide by 6-inch-high pans per drawer. The drawers and door have Santoprene™ magnetic snap-in gaskets for a secure seal, and the half-height door features spring-loaded, self-closing, reversible hinges to prevent accidental cold air loss. This unit has completely enclosed, vented, and removable rear and side grills and includes 5-inch casters to facilitate moving the unit without lifting.

For consistent cooling in hot kitchens, the Continental FA68NBS-D 68-inch worktop freezer is designed to maintain NSF-7 temperatures in ambient temperatures up to 100 degrees Fahrenheit. With 2 inches of non-CFC polyurethane foam insulation and a novel forced-air design that uses fans installed approximately every 12 inches across the back of the unit for even air distribution, the unit features a performance-rated refrigeration system for exceptional cooling. The refrigeration system uses environmentally friendly R-290 hydrocarbon refrigerant and has an electronic control, automatic defrost system to inhibit frost buildup and protect foods from becoming freezer burned. The automatic, non-electric condensate evaporator saves energy, and the expansion valve system efficiently regulates temperatures. The condensing unit slides out for servicing, and the plasticized fin evaporator coil resists corrosion.
