The Continental MC5ND milk cooler's forced air flow curtain helps keep products cold during serving, when the lids are open. The performance-rated refrigeration system uses high efficiency R-290 hydrocarbon refrigerant to lower its environmental impact. To simplify monitoring the unit's temperature, it features an electronic controller with digital display and a hi-low alarm to alert when its operating temperature is out of range. This unit has a built-in electric condensate evaporator for energy efficiency and consistent performance, and its condensing unit is bottom mounted for improved serviceability. To help keep cold air inside, this unit has 2 inches of high density, non-CFC, foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation and snap-in lids and door gaskets.

The Continental MC5ND milk cooler is designed for durability to withstand use in high-volume settings. It has a white, painted steel exterior with a stainless steel top and door. Its lids, door hinges, and latches are made of heavy-duty stainless steel. The galvanized steel interior with reinforced stainless steel floor provides support when it's 24-cubic-foot capacity is filled. This unit can hold (16) 13-inch-long by 13-inch-wide by 11-inch-high crates or (10) 19-inch-long by 13-inch-wide by 11-inch-high crates. The heavy-duty, epoxy-coated steel wire floor racks resist corrosion, and the 5-inch-diameter swivel plate casters with front locking brakes enable this unit to be quickly moved as needed. This unit has a floor drain for simplified defrosting and cylinder-keyed security locks for securing products when the unit is unattended.
