The Continental Refrigeration SW48N-D worktop refrigerator has four drawers to accommodate various food pan sizes. Its drawers are equipped with polished chrome handles and snap-in gaskets provide a tight seal, so cold air doesn't escape the chamber. For temperature adjustments, operators can use the electronic controls, which can be monitored on the digital display. If the temperature undergoes sudden changes, a high/low alarm sound to warn those nearby to check the unit.

If maintenance is needed in the Continental Refrigeration SW48N-D commercial worktop refrigerator, users can access its compressor from the rear. Because it is mounted on 5-inch casters, it can be rolled out for service or repositioned elsewhere in the kitchen as needed. To reduce energy costs, the cabinet is insulated with 2 inches of polyurethane foam, and for durability, the top, front, and end panels are made of stainless steel while the interior is made of aluminum.
