The Continental Refrigerator SWF48NBS worktop freezer has a self-contained refrigeration system that keeps the cabinet cool using R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant. Using electronic controls, this temperature can be adjusted, and a digital display provides an accurate readout for monitoring. If the temperature changes suddenly, an alarm will go off to alert those nearby that maintenance is needed. To trap cold air, this unit is insulated with 2 inches of polyurethane foam, and the doors seal shut with magnetic gaskets to eliminate air-escaping cracks.

Spring-loaded doors on the Continental Refrigerator SWF48NBS commercial worktop freezer open to reveal two separate sections with one shelf in each of them, and for durability and corrosion resistance, the shelves are epoxy coated. If an employee forgets to close one of the doors, it will shut on its own to reduce the cost of energy. For durability, the front, top, and end panels of this unit are made of stainless steel, and the interior and back are sturdy aluminum.
