Because the Cres Cor 102-ST-1841E heated holding cabinet heats without gas or electricity, it can keep foods warm on the go. It heats using 7-ounce fuel cans kept on a pan in the bottom. Temperatures are hotter near the fuel pan, at approximately 180 degrees Fahrenheit, and cooler at the top of the cabinet. For loading pans, users can open the door wide or latch it to the cabinet. Pans slide in and out without any tricky adjustments, and stops ensure the pans don't block airflow at in the back. Airflow in the unit can be adjusted using the vents on the front.

The Cres Cor 102-ST-1841E heated holding cabinet is fully mobile because it comes mounted on swivel casters, and the protruding top and bottom panels act as bumpers to protect the unit from dents. To prevent bending, the frame is welded together, and the high-tensile aluminum construction resists corrosion for longtime use. This material is also lightweight, reducing stress on those pushing it.
