With its 50-pound oil capacity, the Dean 1PRG50T-SPV PowerRunner™ SPV gas fryer accommodates high-volume frying applications, produces large quantities of product, and recovers temperature quickly. Its thermo-tube heat transfer system is equipped with reliable burners and stainless steel baffles; it establishes a large heat transfer area to reduce the oil's concentrated heat load. Throughout operation, the 1-degree-Fahrenheit compensating temperature probe monitors oil temperatures to reduce the risk of oil degradation. A forward-sloping, wide cold zone built into the frypot's bottom traps sediment; a 1¹/₄-inch drain valve removes the sediment to prevent buildup.

This Dean 1PRG50T-SPV floor-model gas fryer's 15.50-inch-wide by 30³/₄-inch-deep by 44¹/₂-inch-high structure replaces the Pitco SG14 gas fryer and features a special top connecting strip that can be connected to the SG14 unit. The unit's frying area measures 14 inches wide by 14 inches deep by 3¹/₂ inches high to accommodate large loads of product at a time. To withstand daily, heavy-duty use, its frypot, front, door, backsplash, and flue cover are made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel, while the sides are made of aluminized steel. Steel legs support the unit and can be adjusted in 1-inch increments to minimize wobbling on uneven surfaces.
